This place left a very important and sad mark on the India’s struggle for Independence. Once we entered the Jallianwala Bagh, we could not help but feel sorry for all those unfortunate people who died at this place. It has markings and boards that gave us clear understanding of what happened on that unfateful day. The place fills you with a rush of patriotism and at the same time, a strong feeling of disgust also hits you. The light and sound show, narrated by the legendary actor Amitabh Bachhan, is truly amazing. If you’re visiting Amritsar, you simply cannot skip this piece of history.
