B’Day Celebration at Lodhi Garden
We celebrated the birthday of little Akshita on 21st February at Lodhi Garden. One of its kind, it was totally different experience for both Akshita’ family and the guests. Lodhi Garden is one of the most visited places by locals in Delhi, especially because of the lush green gardens, the cleanliness and the beautiful monuments of Delhi Sultanate.
But planning a birthday party for Akshita who is 8 year old in such a place was tricky, because we were not sure that her friends would be inclined towards such kind of birthday party experience. But we knew what we had to do, and no other place could have been better than Lodhi Garden. We started by introducing everyone and wishing Akshita, further we all sung for her and gave her wishes.
After little snacks Akshita and her friends were taken for a fun filled walk within the enclosures of Lodhi Garden from monument to monument, telling them tales and legends which they loved and we were also surprised that they really loved the stories and kept asking us questions. What they loved most were the surprising activities we had planned for them.
Meanwhile the parents were not getting bored but also were taken on a totally different kind of walking tour of Lodhi Garden. The parents and their kids completed their walks and met back at the starting point with lot of excitement. Parents seemed like tired but the 8-10 year olds were still ready to explore more.
We took group pictures and bid farewell once again after wishing Akshita with lots of good feelings and greetings.
