Flight of Birds
Sunrise over the Sultanpur Lake is an experience that no one coming to Gurgaon should miss. Walk through this amazing bird sanctuary and witness the attractive and amazing migratory birds. You can spot here in the right season include Purple Sunbird, Little Cormorant, Eurasian, Gray Francolin, Black Francolin, White-throated Kingfisher, Spot billed Duck and Painted Stork among others.
Walk Details:
The famous Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary is definitely one of the must visit places, but even if you are not a photographer there is more to the sanctuary than just birds and wildlife. This walk takes you through the sanctuary amidst the nature’s gifts, beautiful plants, amazing insects & tiny creatures and some of the best sunsets & sunrises. The bird sanctuary was actually named after Rajput Chauhan Sultan Singh, and at that time sultanpur was the centre for salt production. The area was named a bird sanctuary only in 1972 and upgraded to National Park in 1989.
