In the past with the support of UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization) and INCREDIBLE INDIA (Ministry of Tourism, GoI) we have been able to organize a string of events spread across the country in the months of January, February and March 2021. The festival (ICWF™) is being promoted in vernacular languages and will hold connections to the local attractions and the lesser-known spots.
This will also transform how individuals explore cities and simultaneously take care of the infrastructure cum societal engagement. The stories during the events are constantly promoted with social cohesion, rootedness & identity leading to local immersion in India’s diversity. The “social” component in the events will harness the tourism assets (tangible & intangible) to create participatory engagement among host communities.
