Ishq Ki Kahani Tareekh Ki Zubaani
As the Date 14th February comes closer, the thought of making this year’s Valentine special for the beloved starts mingling in every person’s mind. The options that usually come to mind are repetitive and so you venture into the awesome search device “Google” looking for what amazingly new idea can it provide. This year India City Walks acted as a cupid to all those couples searching for alternative options to celebrate their day of love by launching their season’s special walk- “Ishq ki Kahani, Tareekh ki Zabaani”. This special walk attracted many Delhities – Couples with passionate love stories, History buffs for their undying love of history and others accompanied by their one and only love “the Camera”.
The walk was led by Chief Explorer – Sachin Bansal and historian Ms. Rana Safvi, famous blogger, hazrat-e-dilli. The Walk was at the Humayun’s Tomb the perfect spot for listening to the love stories of the Mughals. After listening to a lot of fascinating stories of Humayun and Haji Begum, the group also explored the beautiful tomb of Humayun’s.
The beautiful evening of the day of love then was made more memorable by Ms. Safvi by narrating heart touching tales of love. Some of the most orthodox and rude Mughal rulers like Aurangzeb going crazy in love made all of us believe just as Ghalib says “ Yeh Ishq nahi asaan bas yun samaj lijiye, Aag ka dariya hai aur doob ke jana hai”.
