Being Indian, We’ve seen and always been told stories about India and Pakistan rivalry. So, while we were exploring Amritsar, a visit to Wagah Border was definitely a part of our itinerary, something that was impossible to be missed. The retreat ceremony by soldiers on either side of the border was a completely electrifying experience. It is really more about gallantry, pageantry, pomp and circumstance in a somewhat over-the-top show. Belongingness to the country is aroused with feeling of patriotism taking over your senses. Music, drama and the closeness of the frontiers were a wonderful spectacle that every Indian should witness, at least once.
